Important changes in Directions 2019 thru 2020. |
There is still construction at the Lucie Stern complex, but the large parking will be open especially for the Holiday Fair. You will be able to enter the lot ONLY from Hopkins Avenue, however, not from Middlefield Road. There are two ways to get to Hopkins and the parking lot:
* From Embarcadero, turn north onto Newell. In one block, turn left onto Hopkins. In several blocks, turn left into the parking lot.
* From Middlefield, turn east onto Melville. In one block turn right onto Parkinson, and then right onto Harriet. In a block, the parking lot is straight ahead.
There will be directional signs to the Hoover House and the parking from Embarcadero and from Middlefield.
* From Embarcadero, turn north onto Newell. In one block, turn left onto Hopkins. In several blocks, turn left into the parking lot.
* From Middlefield, turn east onto Melville. In one block turn right onto Parkinson, and then right onto Harriet. In a block, the parking lot is straight ahead.

General Directions:
From 101 North or South, take the Embarcadero Road West exit (in Palo Alto). Turn right on Newell (traffic light), then left at the first street (Hopkins). Go three short blocks to the end of Hopkins and park on the street. The Girl Scout House is the brown building on your left. From 280 North or South, take the Page Mill Road exit east in Los Altos. Go down the long hill, then turn left on El Camino Real (route 82). Follow El Camino several lights, then turn right on Embarcadero Road (traffic light). Turn left on Newell (traffic light), then left at the first street (Hopkins). Go three short blocks to the end of Hopkins and park on the street. The Girl Scout House is the brown building on your left. For your holiday gifts, avoid the crowds at the mall and join us! We hope to see you here! |
